1844 people signed a petition to the Victorian State Parliament for the Hawthorn to Box Hill Trail.
The petition was tabled by Paul Hamer, MP for Box Hill. Hansard, 21 March 2019
Paul Hamer later announced $370,000 was allocated for planning the trail.
